1) Have a look at the website assigned to your group.  Get a sense of the organization’s sense of itself, its purposes, and its audiences.  Follow the links.  Where do they take you?  What can you learn from this site?  What actions does it invite you to take?

2) Meet with your group to discuss the site and plan a class presentation of NO MORE THAN 15 MINUTES, in which you:
 

--Assess the ENVIRONMENTAL IMAGINATION on which the site is based.  Is it biocentric?  anthropocentric?  Does it assume a human/nature dualism?  Does it believe in human domination of the natural world?  Is its view of the natural world based on its value as resource, national treasure, site of aesthetic beauty, site of rest and/or recreation, habitat?  Something else?
--Tell which, if any, of the writers we have read the site mentions or calls to mind?
--Show how the site projects the organization’s IMAGE and PURPOSES.
--Show how the site strives to appeal to certain kinds of audiences.
